Like the candy bar, but with lasting energy instead of a sugar rush, these Almond Joy Energy Balls are the best snack.
I’ve heard about kale chips. I’ve tried them a few times, but never bothered to make them. Seriously, how good can baked greens be? After seeing the super green at the farmer’s market, I was inspired to give them another shot. Now I see what the craze is about. These krispy krunchy kale chips are unbelievably delicious and satisfy every crispy, crunchy, salty craving you could ever have. I devoured them in one sitting…and I don’t feel a bit guilty about it!
Once you try homemade crunchy granola, you will never want to buy it again. I was spending $5.00 for a two cup bag of granola at a health food store. Completely fed up with this ridiculous price, I had to make my own. The end result: healthy, simple, quick, money-saving, and crunchy granola!
When making your own granola, you can control how much sugar is added. Also, you can change the ingredients (dried fruit, seeds, nuts, spices etc.) depending on your taste or mood.
I love this granola with a little bit of non-fat vanilla yogurt. I usually add a drizzle of honey to the yogurt first. It is also good with a splash of cold milk. Or take it on the go for healthy and easy snacking.
