Pumpkin Cheesecake Brownies

‘Tis the pumpkin season—and in between the spiced lattes and creamy pumpkin soups, these Pumpkin Cheesecake Brownies cannot be missed.

Thick, fudgy brownies with a cream cheese and pumpkin layer swirled with chocolate brownie batter are what dreams are made of.

And the swirled design is easier than it looks…

Seven Layer Dip with Guacamole

The best bart about game day is the game food. And this Seven Layer Dip with Guacamole has to be a part of your game day spread.

Chips and dip are always a go-to appetizer. For this classic version, I kept with the must-have ingredients, but mixed it up with a little spice and used some fresh ingredients to brighten up the dish.

And the one thing that makes this recipe the best…

Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies

I just had a peanut butter cookie aha moment.

As a fan of soft cookies, I never craved peanut butter cookies because they were always thin and crispy.

But these Perfect Peanut Butter Cookies are perfect for me because they are soft and packed full of peanut buttery flavor.

I posted a sneak preview on Instagram because I couldn’t wait to share the recipe.

In the recipe, there is one crucial step that you can’t skip…

Buttermilk Banana Bread with Chocolate Chunks

Sweet enough for dessert, but acceptable for breakfast—this Buttermilk Banana Bread with Chocolate Chunks (and a big schmear of peanut butter) is all that I need.

Fall officially starts this week—and that means fall baking is now in high gear. I know these Mini Halloween Pumpkin Spice Cakes are adorable, but let’s get back to basics with a classic banana bread recipe.

But first, we need to talk about this peanut butter thing. Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter Exists—and it’s amazing. Especially on this bread. Peanut Butter & Co. sent me a jar—and it’s good. Really good. Like PSL got cozy with a jar of creamy pb and made a new delicious spread.

I also need to mention that this bread is perfect for the two items that are most often left over…

My Favorite Slow Cooker Beef Chili

This is my favorite slow cooker beef chili recipe. I think I made it over a dozen times last year—and already once this year. It is my no-fail, fool-proof, easy recipe for game-day and feeding a hungry crowd.

So, speaking of no-fail, let’s get real and talk kitchen fails because everyone makes mistakes.

I actually did screw up this chili once. But it won’t happen to you—I swear! This was entirely an electrical fail. I followed the recipe exactly and set my slow cooker. When I came home, I was expecting to open the door to the warm smell of chili that had been simmering all day. Nope. I ran to the slow cooker and it was off and everything was raw. Total fail.

I had another fail recently too.

Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches with Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

It’s Labor Day weekend—the last weekend of summer. And what over-the-top indulgent treat are we making to celebrate? Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches made with Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. Tears of sadness or joy—I’m not sure (and not really this dramatic).

The end of summer is always bittersweet for me. It’s back to school time and the end of summer fridays, but it’s also my birthday.

My birthday was earlier in the week and I was so surprised to go to dinner at Eleven Madison Park. It is definitely a bucket list restaurant and an amazing food experience if you have the chance to go.

There were 14 courses total and all of them were incredible—here is one that I posted on Instagram. They also served a dish made out of sunflower hearts, sort of like artichoke hearts. I had no idea you could eat sunflowers (besides the seeds).

So, let’s talk about these Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars.

Dairy-free Chocolate Cupcakes with Frosting Two Ways

Dairy-free chocolate cupcakes with frosting two ways. Creamy Peanut Butter Frosting for a classic combo and Toasted Marshmallow for all the s’mores lovers out there—haiiii friends.

Why did my butter-loving self go dairy-free? Other people of course. It’s not like I would make an entire batch of chocolate cupcakes for myself or anything. 😊

But seriously, we had some friends visiting over the weekend and the vibe called for something sweet—and dairy-free. The cupcakes are made without eggs and butter, but are absolutely so delicious that I might consider always baking dairy-free. Do you see that moist crumb here???

The secret is in the ingredients.
