Salmon is usually my go-to fish during the week, but sometimes it needs some fresh new flavors.

Lemon Herb Salmon Marinade

Enter this easy lemon herb salmon marinade. It is so simple and fast to make—and most of the ingredients you probably already have on hand. You can use a variety of fresh herbs. I used basil and cilantro, but parsley, chives, or even green onions would work.

This dish is not only delicious, but wild salmon has so many health benefits. If you are trying to incorporate more fish into you diet, this marinade is a good way to start. It would also be great on white fish or shrimp.

Lemon Herb Salmon Marinade

I always opt for wild salmon instead of farmed salmon. While they have similar levels of Omega-3s, wild salmon is much higher in other important vitamins and minerals. Plus, the farmed salmon contains higher levels of contaminants. It’s always better to steer clear of that!
